Course Description

This course will demonstrate the latest in pulp therapy techniques in primary and permanent teeth and the use of GIC’s as a final restorative material. The topic of pulp therapy will include Biodentine pulpotomies, Cvek pulpotomies for dental trauma, and indirect pulp caps with GIC.  The restorative component will discuss new composites and their use in the Slot Prep.

 

Learning Objectives

 

  1.  Attendees will learn how to do a Slot Prep with composite
  2.  Attendees will learn how to mix, place and condense Biodentine for a pulpotomy as well as understand the many uses of Biodentine for direct and indirect pulp caps and trauma
  3.  Attendees will learn how to mix, place and condense GIC as a final restoration
  4.  Attendees will learn the many advantages of a universal composite with a simplified  uni-shade system as a final restoration
  5.  To settle the issue of whole etch vs. selective etch
