This course will cover the latest in medical and dental issues in the treatment of patients with Special Health Care Needs. The course topics will include some of the more common medical and dental related issues that will be seen in the dental office. These topics include behavioral and psychological issues, neurological disorders, blood and endocrine discrasias, pre-term births and cleft lip and cleft palate.
